Female TRANSITIONAL Living
Female TL is a 9 bed supervised facility with the intent to assist youth ages 14-21 in planning for and meeting basic needs in the areas of education, safe housing, life skills and employment. A supported, structured and disciplined environment will be maintained, while the development of self-esteem, self-discipline, ethical, and mature decision making will be fostered. The program incorporates a three level system designed to facilitate progression through learning skills. Each level provides the youth the opportunity to experience more freedom and responsibilities while gaining the skills and knowledge to eventually live on their own while entering adulthood. Youth will be encouraged to participate in group meetings, individual one on one reviews and group activities to improve life skills and learn to become a contributing member to society.
